Whoever Works At Maggie’s Cafe in Portland, Oregon And Does This… YOU ARE AWESOME.

A design student from Portland, Oregon, named Emily does something in her spare time that most people could only dream of doing. At a coffee shop in Portland called Maggie”s Cafe, she creates one-of-a-kind chalkboard art for them to proudly (and we mean proudly) display. She posted a batch of them online and let us just say for the rest of the world… WOW.
Made in honor of Edgar Allen Poe”s death (October 7th, 1849).
Ripley and an alien (from Alien).
A piece inspired by Mucha.
Courage the Cowardly Dog (one of the creepiest and coolest cartoons in existence).
A Hellboy chalkboard (her first).
An awesome Doctor Who chalkboard.
Why hello, Mr. Resetti, from Animal Crossing (in honor of “Mol day”).
Jack Skellington and others from Nightmare Before Christmas.
A board made for when Allie Brosh from Hyperbole and a Half was signing books.
Sailor Moon, a cartoon every girl should know.
Pika, Pika! It”s Pikachu (and allegedly drawn upside down, still great though).
An incredible portrait of the Sanderson sisters from Hocus Pocus.
More adorable art from Animal Crossing.
An appropriate board on Guy Fawke”s day (and a reminder what the day was all about).
Bob”s Burgers is the best. So is Tina.
This incredible board was made for Dostoyoevsky”s birthday.
Adventure Time is worth making a specialty coffee for.
Katniss Everdeen (did you know katniss was a type of plant also called an “arrowhead?”) from Hunger Games.
Elsa from the new movie Frozen (so seasonally appropriate).
Thor. Because, Thor.
Meet Thorin, from The Hobbit.
And you should really listen to anything Hank Hill says.
To see more of Emily”s awesomely awesome art, check out her blog. Or drive to Portland to visit Maggie”s Cafe (do the latter).
