Wait Til You See What Happens In This Incredibly Boring Room. It’s Absolutely Awesome.
This modern art installation at the Queensland Gallery of Modern Art is incredibly eye-catching. You”ll be drawn to all of the colors splashed about the room, seemingly chaotic but with an overarching theme. It stops passers by in their tracks. There is something about who created this room, though, that no one ever realizes.
This room began as a clean slate. It was pristinely white and without any of the artists” influence.
Then, a bunch of kids were brought in with stickers.
That”s right. Kids.
The awesome art installation was created by children who were armed with colorful stickers.
The kids covered the entire house with the stickers.
If you think about it, this is what the inside of a child”s mind must look like: chaotic, beautiful and absolutely pure.
It”s hard to tear my eyes away.
An artist by the name of Yayoi Kasuma created the idea, but the real work was done by the kids were who brought in. It”s been accurately named The Obliteration Room, because of the “damage” the kids did to the crisp, white walls and furniture.
The Obliteration Room is part of Yayoi Kusamas Look Now, See Forever exhibition that will run through March 12.
