This Clown Terrorized One Town For An Entire Month…You Won’t Believe Why

Last year, residents of New York City”s Staten Island had their neighborhood terrorized by a murderous-looking clown. In fact, this clown bore an uncanny resemblance to the clown Pennywise from Stephen King”s novel, It.
Just in case you weren”t sure.
Yep. Creepy.
The mysterious and terrifying clown was seen both in broad daylight and the dead of night all around Staten Island.
Many residents suspected the clown to be part of a publicity stunt, but had no proof. Luckily no one suffered clown related injuries.
Finally, after a month”s worth of clown sightings, local film production company, Fuzz on the Lens, came forward to claim responsibility.
They even made an obviously staged video of “capturing” the Staten Island clown.

Part of me was hoping that the Staten Island clown was more creepy mystery, than publicity stunt. Then again, maybe I should just be happy that there aren”t actually killer clowns running around out there.
