These Kiddie Poems Are Super Cute…Til You See The Last One, At Least

Kids often say the cutest things. They have a way with words that can make even the most hardened adult giggle and reminisce about their youth. Their usual cheer and joviality can brighten the world.

Then there are times when kids can be downright demented, as evidenced by this poem written by a 9-year-old. The first two poems in this newspaper”s “Creativity Corner” are the usual fare you”d expect from 8- and 9-year-olds…until you read Gabi”s.

Holy cow! Can somebody check to see if Gabi is secretly a super villain? What kind of childhood would lead to this? I guess only Gabi knows, but jeez, maybe we should let her eat some more ice cream.
