Jakarta| The country-wide manhunt which has been the focus of indonesian medias for the last two months, has finally ended with the arrest of the infamous horned man, Jakalu Mawakimba, in the slums of the country’s capitol.
The country’s authorities and population had been on high alert, leading to thousands of reported sightings all over Sumatra and Java as well as many other islands, leading many indonesians on the brink of panic.
Vigilantes and citizen militias have been organized throughout the country over the last weeks to help the authorities in their chase for the mutant, and it seems that one of these groups is actually responsible for the capture of the fugitive. According to the police, Mister Makawimba was about to hanged by an armed and furious lynch mob when the first officers arrived on site to arrest him.
“It is a great day for the indonesian security forces” explains captain Jalwârmû Nigâliyâ, a public relations officer of the Jakarta police department. “We have taken a monster off the streets with the help of the population, and the citizens can now sleep in peace.”
