Flowers are blooming, birds are singing, and the weather is finally warming up. That can only mean one thing: spring is here. While spring is an easy season to fall in love with, it does cause its fair share of suffering. Ask anyone with seasonal allergies and they”ll tell you that spring is the worst.

Sadly, there is no magic bullet to make springtime allergies pass more quickly, unless of course you”re 51-year-old Steve Easton…

Ever since he was a young boy, Easton has regularly suffered from a blocked nose.

Ever since he was a young boy, Easton has regularly suffered from a blocked nose.

Easton always attributed the symptoms to allergies or a mild cold. However, that couldn”t be further from the truth.

Earlier this month, Easton was in the middle of a sneezing fit when out flew the rubber tip of a plastic toy dart, like the ones pictured below.

Earlier this month, Easton was in the middle of a sneezing fit when out flew the rubber tip of a plastic toy dart, like the ones pictured below.

Needless to say, Easton was stunned. He had no idea that the toy was even in there. He called his 77-year-old mom to tell her the news. She told Easton that when he was seven, his parents noticed the missing rubber tip of a dart and took him the hospital fearing the worst. However, doctors couldn”t locate the tip and decided to write it off as a coincidence. Easton”s nasal passages are now clear for the first time in over four decades.

Here”s Easton recalling that epic sneeze.

I can”t even imagine how good Easton must feel now with that toy removed from his nose. I”m actually surprised that it didn”t cause even more health problems. Well, at least now he can enjoy the fresh air of spring with a clear nose.
